Bio

Nice to meet you!

I was born in Nova Scotia, had a satisfying affair with Canada’s west coast, and returned home to the east.

I write stories with heart, happily ever afters and a hint of magic—where loveable grumps, sweet cinnamon rolls, and sunshiny weirdos find their way together.

From creative writing, to editor of the school newspaper, to blogging, storytelling has always been a part of my life.

During the pandemic, I did two things: I taught myself to play the ukulele, and I wrote my first romance novel.

(My family supported my writing, because anything was better than listening to me play the same five songs over and over.)

I married a man who inspires my interpretation of a romantic hero. We have two boys and a cluttered house—it’s basically a fairy tale.

These days, I can be found writing, cooking meals that may or may not get eaten, and trying to be funny and engaging on social media. (That’s hard for an introvert.)

Love stories are the best stories. I don't make the rules.
