Nice to meet you!
I was born in Nova Scotia, had a satisfying affair with Canada’s west coast, and returned home to the east.
I write stories with heart, heat, and humour—where loveable grumps, sweet cinnamon rolls, and sunshiny weirdos find their way together.
I bring the sweet (& a lil' spicy,) the swoon, and the happily ever after.
Writing and storytelling have always been part of my life.
During the pandemic, I did two things: I taught myself to play the ukulele, and I wrote my first romance novel.
(My family supported my writing, because anything was better than listening to me play the same three songs over and over.)
I’m married to a man who inspires my interpretation of a romantic hero. We have two boys and a cluttered house—it’s basically a fairy tale.
When I was in junior high, my English teacher gave us all notepapers that said, “Be a writer.” I still have mine. (Have I mentioned my cluttered house?)
I was a blogger for a many years, for two different blogs, before switching to fiction.
These days, I can be found writing, cooking meals that may or may not get eaten, and trying to be funny and engaging on social media. (That’s hard for an introvert.)
